As you may have understood, the name is composed of the two main elements of the store: Book for the passion for books and nails for the creation of the kits. The "Y" is a way of combining these two words into one, but also to give a nod to my dad, who loves Spain. By creating Bookynails, I wanted to give readers a space where the universe of each book belongs to them.

Perhaps, like many of you, I started reading with the world saga "After" by Anna Todd. When I was 15, my dad took me every Wednesday afternoon to the library in my small country village. After 30 minutes of scrolling through the mini romance section, I came across THE book that literally changed my life as a reader. At that time, I didn't know New Romance yet and I didn't know what it really meant. Needless to say, it was a huge crush and I couldn't stop reading. I still remember that feeling of joy that took hold of my body with each page that turned. It's a moment that I haven't forgotten and that marked the beginning of something.

I started doing my own nails in September 2023. At first, it wasn't necessarily high-quality nail art... but I was learning! Then, some time after the release of the book Lakestone , which literally won our readers' hearts, I had the wonderful idea of ​​doing my nails inspired by this book. When I finished this first kit and saw that it sparked interest in the Booktok, I was so proud of what I had managed to create. A year later, I am happy to announce the opening of my online store "Bookynails", to allow each reader to travel through each book.
